Species facts come from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) and its backbone taxonomy, and local computation, provided as is. Taxonomy is revised constantly, conservation categories come from the IUCN Red List as relayed by GBIF and may lag, and sighting counts reflect where people look, not where species live.
